Developing a YOU 2.0 story is critical
Check out these 4 examples:
Your Origin Story
Think of Marvel/Disney Movies where the hero’s origin story takes center stage.
For relaunchers this is where you can tell your story to answer “Tell Me About Yourself.”
Your Vision Story
Again using a movie metaphor, SciFi movies are great at painting a vision.
For relaunchers help the interviewer imagine what it could be like when you hit the ground running and deliver on full your potential.
Your VIA/Value in Action Story
Hospitals and healthcare companies often showcase doctors and nurses at their best in doing their job with compassion.
Think of a personal value you would like to showcase (work ethic, integrity, or empathy) and tell the story of how you embody that value.
Your Failure/Work in Progress Story
Protagonists face their challenges and learn from mistakes as part of the hero’s arc.
In demonstrating your willingness to take on new challenges, talk about some pivots or challenges you’ve faced and what are the lessons learned.
